Peabody Man Caught Carrying Shot Gun At Amazon Construction Site In Revere

A 41-year-old Peabody man was arrested for bringing a shot gun to an Amazon facility construction site with which he was affiliated, authorities said.

Police received a call about a man who was armed at 565 Squire Road in Revere around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, Revere Police said on Twitter.

Upon arrival, officers found and arrested Matthew White, police said. They also confiscated White's gun and three rounds of ammunition. Police later learned that White is affiliated with the same construction project but did not specify his exact role.

White has since been charged with possession of a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, leaving a firearm in a motor vehicle and improper storage of a firearm. The incident is under investigation.
